Payment & Refunds
A down payment of half the total invoice amount is required for any project. This down payment is non-refundable unless the project must be cancelled by us. The remainder of the invoice amount is due upon completion of the project.
All clients must fill out our Project Planner worksheet before we begin work on a project. This way we can all start on the same page. We reserve the right to refuse any project for any reason.
We can’t guarantee completion of a project in a certain amount of time, but most projects only require 5-7 weeks. This of course will depend on the scope of the project, how quickly we receive feedback, and how many revisions are needed. If you have a specific deadline for your website launch, please make sure we are aware before we place your project on our design calendar.
We fill our design calendar 4-6 months in advance. Only after we’ve received your completed Project Planner questionnaire and down payment will your project be placed on our calendar. We prefer to focus our attention on one client at a time to ensure you receive the best service possible.
Each website or blog design package includes up to two major revisions / mock-ups. After reviewing the first mock-up, the client should submit specific feedback using concrete language and examples. A second mock-up will be designed based on the client’s feedback. If additional changes need to be made after the second mock-up has been submitted to the client, the client will be billed at our hourly rate of $75/hour for any further changes.
Our preferred methods of communication are email or Skype / Gmail text chat, followed by phone conversations.
Usernames / Passwords
We will create a username and password for your WordPress website. This will be delivered to you via email upon receipt of your final payment. The client is responsible for providing usernames and passwords for FTP access, Twitter, etc. We encourage you to change any and all passwords after completion of the project.
We will only work with hosting companies that are “WordPress friendly.”
The client owns the copyright to all custom graphics upon delivery of the completed project. Concerning the entire theme design, we do ask that the design as a whole not be altered after installation without express permission. Our design credit must also be kept in the footer as long as the design is used.
Any project may be used in our online portfolio at any time.
